P5 Config Setup

This page is meant to help those who have never used Aemulus Package Manager before to set up P5 so that P5EX can get properly installed onto it.

Before installing P5EX, we need to have Aemulus Package Manager know where to install it. Meaning, we need to point to the P5's directory. Here's how we do it.

Note: If there's an update, quickly install it before proceeding with the guide!

Switch to P5

First boot up Aemulus Package Manager. By default, the package manager is set to load mods for Persona 4 Golden. To change this, under Manage Packages, click on the P4G icon > Persona 5.

Then, navigate to the gear icon and click it.

This will open P5’s config window.

Ignore the CPK Name field as that is not relevant for the renaming steps. The remaining fields, however, are important.

Adding paths to the right fields

• Output folder: Look for your P5’s USRDIR folder path.

• P5 EBOOT Path: Locate the EBOOT.BIN file, it should be inside P5’s USRDIR folder.

• RPCS3.exe Path: Self explanatory, it wants the directory path of the RPCS3 executable. Make sure to specifically select the executable before you click the Open button.
