Is this really necessary?

Yes.

Otherwise, P5 is going to be at risk of getting softlocked.

What is a softlock?

It is an instance in a game whereby it is impossible to make any progression.

Getting the package

Next to Manage Packages, click the Download Packages tab.

By default, it shows packages for P4G, so we need to change that.

Click on the P4G icon, and select P5

Search up the package

In the search bar, type "Soft". The first entry should be "Fix Softlock for Community Patches" by DeathChaosV2.

Download it.

If this window appear, click "Yes".

Return to Manage Packages and make sure for you checked enable "P5 Community Patches Softlock Fix".

Note: Should you have other mods installed, make sure to put P5 Community Patches Softlock Fix at the bottom of the mod list.

Both packages are enabled!
